Stoles
Every stole we fabricate is a unique, hand-made creation crafted from 100% Dupioni silk. Dupioni is a plain weave silk fabric made from yarns that create a highly irregular, slubby surface. The slubs are not defects in the material. Dupioni is known for its elegant luster. Stoles are available in small (4 1/2") or regular (5") widths. Normal lengths run from 95" to 120" long. When ordering, please specify the width and length you desire. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have as to which size stole would best fit the wearer.
Do you see something you like, but want it with a different cross, different length or in a different color? We will be happy to work with you to design exactly what you want. Small fabric samples can be sent on request. If you already have a design you would like to see applied for a completely customized stole, please contact us. We will let you know if your design will be able to be applied to a stole and the price and approximate time frame for completing your custom stole. When you place your order we will give you a time frame of when to expect your finished product. If your order is first on the list and all fabrics are in stock, your order will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks. Custom design stoles may take longer. Please specify if you need a project by a certain time and we will let you know if we will be able to meet that deadline. Rush orders are available for additional charge.
Stole prices start at $150, but most stoles average around $275. Custom design stoles will be quoted prior to ordering. Stole prices include a cross at the neck. Additional symbols/crosses start at $25 each. Except for large orders, payment must be received in full before your order is started. For larger orders, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required when placing your order. Payment can be made by money-order, personal check, or by credit card through Pay-pal. Any balance due must be recieved before the finished product is shipped.
Items are shipped by United States Postal Service. Actual shipping charges will apply. A single stole shipping charge is usually $5.50 by USPS priority mail. Overnight shipping is available to most areas at an additional charge. We will notify you of any additional shipping charges based on the delivery zip code.
